Lava from two different sources merge in a collision of textures! Yummy!! What a feast for the eyes, as bits of glow pop through every crevice, crack and cranny! This photo was taken during the 2014 Pahoa eruption on the north flank of Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō. This is part of Bruce Omori’s #texturetuesday series and was shared on social media on October 6, 2020.
